Facebook the social networking craze of recent years has a fortitude of  games for all types of personalities and ages. The majority of Facebook  users play the little games offered.The Dr Phil  show had a guest on his show recently who was addicted to Farmville, I would have to say this one is one of the most addicting or at least most played game on

Facebook but not far behind would be Petville,  Cafe World, Mafia Wars, Texas Hold em poker and Castle Age. For some it may seem like an addiction, for others it is just another part of the social networking process. One can farm your land, feed your pets, build your barns and harvest the crops as well as help your neighbors with there farms, homes and restaurants.  Facebook and Zynga are introducing more games readily.  Depending upon ones personality there are almost endless choices to game playing and some of these games require daily visits for maintenance so your crops don't wither or your pet doesn't run away to the pound.

Each game has its own Facebook page where you can visit, become a fan, meet other gamers with interests in your realm of gaming, add to your neighbors, armies, buddies and friends.  You can make comments, ask for help or just make some new friends. Some of these games can be taken care of in a matter of minutes and others you could get caught up in for hours, hence the addiction.

They have games for just about any interest for the young and old alike, from world war ii to the mid evil times, you can build armies for battle in Band of Heroes, Castle Age and  age of  castles.   They offer games to challenge your mind and skill and challenge your friends, such as Mahjong, as well as social games to build from the beginning such as Cafe World, Restaurant City and Island paradise.  There are farming games, aquarium games and virtual pet games. 

Facebook and Zynga have approximately 1000 games to enjoy playing and socializing with all your buddies and pals, but topping the list of addicting or at least most played and enjoyed games on Facebook in my observation would have to be...Top ten....not necessarily in this order are..

1. Farmville

2. Petville

3. Cafe World

4. Mafia Wars

5. Castle Age

6. Texas Hold em poker

7. Fishville

8. Country Life

9. Restaurant City

10. Band of Heroes
