You must think I don’t care anymore
I am sorry I walked away like this
I thought I could be so forgiving
Now I pretend you are no longer living
I know I shouldn’t act like this

I am fighting the man in the mirror
But I am afraid you don’t want to hear what he has to tell you
He wants to say he’s still your friend and loves you so completely
But I know- I know- I know I am not even there when you need me

I didn’t know how to let you go
Without letting you go completely
I said I would be there till the end
Now I’m not even there when you need me
Thought I could be a real good friend even after the end
I guess the end came too soon
Yes, it came too quickly
