I Come From A Family
I come from a family thats really quite unique,
It is a family I 've known since I was less than three,
They've fed me and clothed me and kept me nice and warm,
They've protected me from rain and from all life's other storms,
They teach me who I am and who I aughty to be,
And even though I'm young they show one thing to me,
They show me that true love is always free.

Family ties
Like a ribbon
You can cut
It with words
Of scissors
Like a religion
You can mend
It with words
Of healing

My Son
You have come of age my son
It's time to let you go
But before you turn and run
I want you to know
From the day of your
Out of the vast Pacific
came the dream -
that races could live in harmony,
could overcome differences
and walk side by side.
