Poetry: Tell me

by Bonny Simon

Created on: May 20, 2010   Last Updated: August 27, 2010

Was I so bad, did I break you down?

Did I cause you pain, did I make you frown?

I have looked at our time in the greatest detail,

I just can't figure out how I failed.

Whatever happened just tell me what it was,

Then I can move on and deal with the loss.

Please don't be cruel any longer than you have to,

I don't deserve it, I did nothing to harm you.

To end this whole saga in the very best way.

You need to just say the words so I can go away.

I can deal with the bad and hurtful and cruel,

I can't deal with not knowing, I am not a fool.

So tell me, lay down the all.

Thats the very best for us all.
