Its very interesting to read about the history of the name "Elvis". My name is Elvis Kovacic and for years I never even thought about the roots of my name. To me, I may aswell be called Peter or Paul. To me, the name is my name and nothing more.
More recently however, it has become more than a name. I have realised that people that I come across have great expectations from me due to my name. They expect more than they would from other people.
To them I am not ordinary. Im not saying the expect me to wear a jumpsuit and sing...though I do cop those jokes and did so only 2 nights ago! No, im referring to other expecations.
Things like being the best in my field, being cool, being outspoken, good-looking. Yes, its a relief I am all of those amazing things but its alot to live upto.
I wander what it would be like if Elvis was still alive today. To be honest, he is an immortal and I would be worried that he would no longer be an immortal had he lived until now.
Long live the king! See you in Graceland
