Little ways to earn extra income

There are many little things i do to earn a little extra money each month that require little effort, and can begin to really pay off if done en mass. Most of them don't require any real effort and can be done in your spare time with ease. A lot of people tend to forget these ways you can make money, but they really are pretty simple.

Firstly if you look out into your yard you might see some grass, trees or plants. What most people don't see however is a gold mine. There are numerous ways to earn from the space that you have in your yard that are as easy as planting and waiting. The easiest way is to plant some fruit trees. Getting quite a mixture is usually the best idea. From here you have enough free fruit for all the family, as well as being able to sell the extra. Many farmers markets and similar roadside outlets will let you sell your produce there once they have sampled it. As well as selling the fruit as it is you can also bake fruit pies, and make preserves and jelly from certain fruits as well.

The same thing can be done with a simple vegetable patch. Things like corn, chili peppers and potatoes are fairly easy to grow in most climates. These not only save you the money in not having to buy them, but again you can sell the extra that you don't need. Growing uncommon things such as herbs is also another good idea. Because these are sold in small quantities anyway, you will be able to make more money as per the space that the plant requires.

While you're in the garden, its time to think about other peoples. Many people either cant be bothered or don't have the time to keep their garden in good shape. If you are good at gardening then you can work for people part time, a few hours per week to keep theirs looking tidy. Even simple things such as hedge trimming or lawn mowing can generate a lot of interest and it can earn you a good amount as well if you have a few houses to maintain.

Another thing many people underestimate is collecting cans and bottles for the return price paid for them. If you get through a lot in your house then the money can really add up when taking them to be recycled. Depending on where you are in the country you can collect sometimes as much as 10 cents for every can or bottle brought back. This might not sound like a lot, but if you make a trip every few months or so, you might have 500 cans and bottles by then. Thats $75 for basically making one trip to the recycling plant.

If you have any hands on skills such as woodworking, or
