The Apple Corporation created one of the best music gadgets of all time. The Apple IPod is an amazing "toy" that allows you to store and listen to thousands of songs, watch videos and do a host of other things all in one little piece of equipment. Those that have an IPod understand just how powerful they are. For those who want an IPod but haven't yet given in to the craze often wish they had an Applie IPod as well. Although IPods are a good thing to own, it isn't the end of the world if you don't get one. You can survive without an IPod.

How to survive without an IPod:

Radios

There is still such a thing as the radio. If you find yourself without your IPod for some reason, the radio will work just fine. You don't always have to have your IPod with you to listen to music. It just makes it nicer because what you have on your IPod is all music that you personally like. It leaves out all the commercials as well. Try listening to the radio if you find yourself without your IPod.

Cell Phone

Amazingly enough, you can now use many cell phones just like you use an IPod. You can put your music on the cell phone and add a pair of headphones to enjoy your music. If you don't have an IPod but you have a phone that works as an MP3 player, this will often be the better option anyway. You wont have to spend hundreds of dollars to do the exact same thing you already have in your phone.

At Work

Many workplaces don't allow you to listen to music at all while you are working. They are even more strict with people who want to put headphones on. They feel it is a distraction to the employees to have music playing. You will have to get used to surviving without your IPod at work. It isn't that bad though. You will be too busy to think about listening to music. This is one of those areas that you can't do anything about the fact that you can't listen to your IPod.

Other Things

If you can't find other things to do besides listen to your IPod, there is a serious problem. Find other ways to spend your time. Keep yourself busy and you won't even think about being without your IPod. IPod are certainly nice to have but they aren't and shouldn't be your entire life. If the reason that you don't have an IPod is that you can't afford one, you should think about purchasing an MP3 player that costs less money.

IPods are a nice addition to your electronic device collection. They are fun and easy to use and they boast good performance. The world still doesn't begin or end with the Apple IPod. People lived without them long before they came on the scene and will survive long after they don't have one. Use common sense and you will be able to survive without an Apple IPod very easily.
