Poetry: Easter

Pascha

Angelic voices

of servants so fine.

They gather to worship,

The Risen Divine.

A day of victory,

and redemption for all.

“Christ is Risen!”

the Christian’s call.

Trampling down death,

and by death once again.

“Christ is Risen!”

for the salvation of men!

Now is the day,

for servants to assemble,

The angelic choirs,

do we resemble.

Now is the time,

for disciples to sing.

This is the day Christ,

destroyed Death’s sting.

Come all Christians,

And to your last breath.

Sing of the Risen Christ,

And his victory over death!
