When mom knew she was pregnant.
She didn't realize.
That in a short nine months.
She'd get a big surprise.
They didn't want a girl.
A boy was favored more.
They already had a girl at home.
a boy would tie the score.
So on July thirteenth
Nineteen sixty four.
This was the very special day.
They'd all been waiting for.
First there came a little girl.
The nurses told their dad.
"Its a girl" the doctor said
Dad truly hit the floor.
It was shortly after.
When the doctor turned to say.
"Just lay back and relax yourself."
There's another on the way.
It was then their mothers eyes
Overflowed with joy.
They finally had their darling little
Bouncing baby boy.
They were found together.
Morning, noon and night.
They drove mommy crazy.
The way they'd scream and fight.
Now their so much older.
Old enough to see.
They'll always have that special bond
Together in their hearts they'll be
