A fleeting glance, the softest purr
The sense of loss - I miss her fur
My brain makes picrtures, I see here there
My heart knows well, she is no more
I go to sleep, I sense here prescence
She rubs my head, I feel her essence
I hear her mew, I feel her breath
Yet when I wake, nothing is left
My friend, my cat, my constant friend
When will I see you once again?
Yet, in my soul I know she lives
As long as I remember her
The licks, the cuddles, the soft miaow
I love you Ebony, then and now.
