Lost in conversation

Words rise deep from in our hearts

Your eyes sparkle in the moonlight

I loved you from the start

You whisper that you love me

Your words penetrate my soul

I want this to last forever

I could never ask for more

I’ve searched this damned world over

To find someone just like you

Who knows my inner feelings

The things I say and do

And there you were just standing

All alone on that spring day

I was heading for the future

It was you who made me stay

Now I hear Heaven calling

When I feel your gentle touch

My soul soars out among the stars

It’s such a lovely rush

You stimulate the inner me

You take away the lies

Replacing them with love so true

I see it in your eyes

Yes, I have come to know you

I recall the day I came

Wild horses need to run and run

Their beauty can’t be tamed

We run through this world of liars

Through colors of every hue

They take all you can offer

Never touching the inner you

And it’s you who stood before me

Pledging for all the world to see

This love that’s grown between us

This “us” shall always be

Swords raised high with great emotion

As we walk across this land

There can be no greater love on earth

Than the one who took my hand

So we’ll run this path before us

Hearts pumping as we do

I’d trade my future and my past

For a starlit night with you

Now I hear Heaven calling
