My Midnight Sanctuary
Daylight wanes
Darkness comes forth
People sleep yet I cannot
I look out the window
to view the sky
A cloudless black veil
that is up high
I get dressed
I grab my jacket
I head outside to wander
I walk along this concrete path
along with the mist the surrounds me
along with the forest around me
along with my shadow beside me
along with my worries behind me
I look towards an obsidian sky
seeing every point of light
seeing every orb that is bright
As I look something catches my attention
I see fire and light raining from the heavens
This is my Sanctuary
Where
Silence is Golden
and
Solitude is Sacred
This is my Sanctuary
My Midnight Sanctuary
