Imagine the oceans are being destroyed and, nobody cares. Nobody cares but, to themselves. I think a fit punishment would be a sworn confession of their failure in engineering in front of a media. Wait, it is already happening, the waters are being contaminated and, these criminals are just walking free. "They" should hand their badge over to a higher authority, which is God.
Although, religion says nothing about saving the environment. Maybe, religion could create more oil "miraculously". There is a spiritual engine in the heaven. It's a heavenly machine that creates miracles by which I do believe earnestly.

The poor people shouldn't have to pay for the restrictions the society had wrought on them intentionally. It is sad that marine life is being destroy each minute and, every day. It sad that they couldn't stop the oil spill cold.
Logically, after evaluating the data, we have the tools to stop and, vast reserve to stop the oil spill. Yet, these tools and, vast reserve of resources wasn't being used.
Do we blame the commander in chief? Who gets to be blamed? Off shore drilling is a lot of responsibility. Maybe, a pharaoh isn't fit for duty. Maybe, it's Dick Cheney of
