However angry, hurt and lost I feel,
I know for certain that it is the real deal.
I spent the day looking for the missing part,
Each time I realised the truth with a start.
Your head is elsewhere, your heart I don't know,
I carry the pieces of mine wherever I go.
You are not going to be there, not anymore.
I never realised that it would be this sore.
No time for closure or a proper goodbye.
There was some half truth, maybe outright lie.
I would rather know the ugly truth, the straight as it were,
Than get left with the feeling of outright murk.
You owe me a telling of all the tale,
Rather than me feeling I was the one who failed.
So if you are a half decent man,
please will you tell me all that you can.
