The Haunted House

 My life began in a big old farm house, having moved there when I was three years old. Years earlier the  previous owner had either jumped or fallen out of one of the upstairs windows to her untimely death. My parents were no strangers to paranormal activities before that, so whether or not this woman's death had anything to do with some of the so-called ghosts that appeared is a matter of question.

For a time I slept upstairs, and on several occasions I would hear someone walking up or down the steps ,  the door would open and close, no one was ever there. On occasion while dining, we would hear some one walking upstairs with the same result. It became a family joke. None of the family really paid much attention to it as the activities had become part of our life,  we would often joke about it during evenings with family and friends.

Three days after Christmas in 1950 the house caught on fire and as a result, a newer smaller home soon took it's place. This didn't seem to deter the ghost or ghosts, as we soon began to experience more paranormal activity. I remember one particular picture that was hanging on the kitchen wall, it would suddenly be hanging sideways, and the rocker sitting quietly beneath it would  begin to rock. Freaky, but what you gonna do?

One summer afternoon, my mom came out of the house and started chewing me out because I had been turning off her radio, (I was just a small pup at the time, and this wouldn't have been beneath my dignity to perform such a task, mom and I were always teasing each other,) except for this particular time I hadn't been in the house all afternoon.

The farm was sold and the family moved on Feb.22nd, 1963, the day John Kennedy was shot and killed. By that time I had grown up and was on my way to the Air Force, this move didn't stop our visits, especially mom and dad's. On different occasions dad would mention something happening, one particular Christmas Eve,upon retiring for the evening they heard Christmas music coming from the walls of their home.

As I remember back, I had been witness to  many more instances of visits of entities from other dimensions . In many ways these visitations lead to my life long endeavor to investigate and experience life in other dimensions and lifetimes.
