The best shoes for air travel

What shoes do I wear for air travel?

Shoes need to be comfortable anytime you travel. They also need to be removed easily, while going through airport security. So what are the best types of shoes? It depends on the season; if it is warm weather then you might want to wear a slip-on pair of sandals. If it is cold, a suitable pair that you have broken in! Standing in long lines, walking or running across the airport! Think of the journey you will be crossing in the airport.

Business shoes

If you are traveling for business make sure they are durable, and fashionable. First impressions can go a long ways! Dressing the part, will put you in a positive mood, and will put a spring in your step! It may even make you more patient if you have to wait in long lines because you feel good about your destination, and the presentation you are making with other passengers by being nice! Being the angry passenger does nothing for you but shows how hot headed you are! Attitude is everything!

Packing

Making your loads small for this type of travel or any types of travel; will also put less stress on your feet as well. Your feet are putting lots of weight on the ground, and if you don't lighten your load your feet will tell you so.

Airport Security

As I mentioned, you will probably have to remove your shoes. Wear ones that are easy to take off, and put on. This will help the rest of the passengers get through the terminal faster. Don't crack jokes like you’re going to place your shoes on fire! Keep it simple Sadie!

Secure

If this is a pleasure trip wearing the right shoes with the right fit can keep you securely in your shoes. Tripping over your shoes if you always have to tie your shoes, or tighten your sandals can take up time as well. Slipping on the floor if your shoe soles have no grip, but give you a slip could be dangerous. If you must buy a new pair of shoes before a big trip make sure they are a good fit, and not tight. Break them in a week before your trip! If your coordination is bad this isn’t a good time to try out the brand new high heels! Wait until you go dancing at your destination or feel more secure in your surroundings!

Traveling with casual and comfortable shoes can be the passport to successful travel. So don't forget your tickets, your passport, your sense of humor, and another pair of comfortable shoes because traveling on your feet shouldn't be a trip on the floor!
