The rivers knew.
They whispered in Mother Nature's ear, and said, "did you hear?"
The bushes knew.
They too whispered in Mother Nature's ear, and said, "did you hear?"
Nature knew.
Even before I did.
Everyone knew that I was in love with you.
How is that so when I didn't even tell you?
Gossip is natural sometimes.
It happens without talking.
Rumors are spread with the wind.
Without a word, my secrets are heard from miles away.
Who told them, any way?
