Health is a one of the precious gifts human beings have received in this world. As the time passes, one getting older, and more vulnerable to diseases and old age, requires to take more care of his/her health. It is not only compulsory for the old people to enhance and take good care of their health, but also the immediate responsibility of every young or middle-aged person, to enjoy a healthy and a nutritious lifestyle, with lots of green vegetables, water usage , work out exercises and last but not the least, STAY AWAY FROM SMOKING.
Yes, smoking is one of the most dangerous lurking fears of getting lung cancer, mouth cancer and various types of chronic diseases. Today, how many people are there who are addicted to smoking every hour or every minute.-more than we all can think. Smoking by itself might be considered a modern era fashion, people feel relaxed and all the tensions vanish when a gush of smoke with sticking in their mouth comes out, which puts an end to this worldly problems. But, it is the other way around. People do not realize the most deadliest and the harmful effects of smoking, in their circle of friends, at home or at work. Lets imagine a family having a couple and a kid. Dad smokes and not only outside, but inside the home, in front of the young toddler. Initially, what would be the consequences of such an irresponsibility of the head of the family, that's the addiction is even brought and exposed to other members of the house. Secondly, the addiction is leading to a severe exposure to kids, and this is called a second-hand smoke. The wife and the son are exposed to a second hand smoke, where they inhale the smoke out of the man's lungs, which contain dangerous ingredients such as nicotine, tar and Carbon monoxide. CO (Carbon monoxide) is one of the poisonous gases which if inhaled can lead to death, and its a smokeless gas. Nicotine is an addiction which makes the cholesterol levels rise in the blood(net doctor.co.UK, page 1). When the cholesterol level increases within a person's body, then it becomes harder for a person's heart to work efficiently. Thirdly, smoking can pollute the environment. Left alone are the diesel, gasoline, petroleum and the garbage which the human beings are contaminating the earth, are some of the other factors, as compared to smoking. Just count if more than 100,000.00 people smoke everyday, and the ozone layer gets pricked everyday, how fast and in brutal ways all of the life on earth will loose the inevitable
