Religious Solaces

Here are some solaces of words, that are words within a word. They have a well meaning to what God has planned for us, as we should live our lives.

P.U.S.H.- Pray Until Something Happens...if you've heard of this, then you know that prayer is a strong use and they do get answered. It says in the Bible (John 14:14) Ask and it shall be given to you...meaning, if you pray to God, asking for the right things that He knows you need, He will provide for you. Yes, even in riches. He will see to your need, but in His time. When you pray, don't expect it to happen overnight or right away. God will answer your prayer in His own time and it will be rewarding in itself.

B.A.S.H.-Bring All Sin to Him...Bring all of your sin to Him and you will be forgiven. Stay on the righteous path and God will make sure your life will be free from sin and it will be easy for you to fight temptation. Just give your all to Him and God will take care of you.

B.I.B.L.E.-Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth...I'm sure everyone has heard of this one. You haven't? This is the one book that you can read that is your basic instructions to life and how God wants you to live it. Follow the word and live by His word and you will surely be let into the Kingdom of Heaven.

P.R.A.Y.E.R.-Put Religion As Your Ethical Right....This is one right that you do have that will be yours to keep as long as you live it. Religion is your freedom of expression in your beliefs and how you see your way of getting to heaven. Also, do as the word spells out...Pray.

D.E.V.I.L.-This is one that I myself have made up, which is true to the word, Destroying Everything Vital In Life. The Devil himself, will destroy everything you love, just to gain your soul. He will try to manipulate, use you as a pawn, tempt you in every way possible and see to it that you will lose everything in your life, so that he can gain you in his own hell. Do without him in your life and live by the basic book of instruction and you will have an everlasting life.

Now, we all know the ever popular abbreviation that came out years ago, WWJD, What Would Jesus Do? Well, my daughter wore a shirt with those initials on it and stood in front of a mirror. I saw those letters backwards and I thought, they would have to stand for something and they do. I came up with one myself, DJWW, Doesn't Jesus Work Wonders? In my life, I have seen the wonders He has done. And yes, He does work wonders. Now, I will give credit for one my daughter came up with, Devil Just Won't Win. No he won't. He won't win as long as you keep him behind you and forever keep him out of your life.

I hope you use these sometime in your life and hope they bring meaning to you as they have to mine. Hope you have and keep God in your life.
