This can be a tough one. At what point do you come to realise that you have fallen in love? Has it always been there but you have never taken the notice? Is love being masked by lust? Love can be a most wonderful experience that shakes us to the very core of our being. After talking with a few of my friends, family and a few random people from the Internet, I have come up with some common ‘symptoms’.
♥ Butterflies in the stomach (Gross Fact – It is believed that butterflies in the stomach are caused by adrenalin running through your body. Because you feel nervous the blood is pulled away from the stomach and sent to the muscles.)
♥ You find yourself smiling when they are not in your presence.
♥ You would skip a night out at the clubs to spend a night in with that special other.
♥ You are on the same wavelength, you can finish each other’s sentences.
♥ Your eyes have stopped straying to any male or female that would have once taken your fancy.
♥ You are connected to them spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
♥ Your heart rate increases when they are in your presence.
♥ The palms of your hand may become sweaty due to the excitement.
♥ You map out a life in your head of what the two of you are going to do such as where you are going to live, the places you will travel to perhaps even down to how many children you will have.
♥ You talk about that person constantly to anyone who will listen, they have been engraved on your brain.
♥ Walking in the rain no longer bothers you.
♥ You thought you did not have the time before? When you are in love with someone you make the time to be with them.
♥ You feel so empty when they are not around.
♥ You become more aware of your appearance and before you go to meet them it’s nothing to spend three hours in the bathroom exfoliating, putting on a face mask, waxing and wearing your best clothes.
♥ Some people lose their appetite (So this is what I need to do to lose my extra kilograms.)
♥ You listen to tireless, soppy love songs over and over. You may even go as far as calling your local radio station and dedicating a song to them
There is no logic or formula to love – it just happens. It seeks you out!

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
