Website reviews: Bookbrowse.com

Created on: May 15, 2010

Bookbrowse.com is a website where budding writers and book lovers alike can indulge themselves into thousands of literary works ranging from almost all forms of literature from novels, to short stories, essays and even magazines.

Book Browse is more like a community of bookworms who constantly read, rate, critique and recommend books of great value. It boast a gallery of more than 20,000 book reviews, reader's and critic's reviews, book excerpts, plot summaries and other writing and reading resources.

The site is a great place for both newbie and established writers to showcase their skills to a greater audience. Book Browse isn't your usual local library which just stores books written by literary geniuses like Shakespeare, Dickens, Longfellow or any other accomplished writer. Book Browse perfectly blends the traditional geniuses of literature to modern-day freelance writing.

Sites like Book Browse which features book from say, a prolific writer Paul Doiron or a Pulitzer Prize Recipient Jane Smiley, go side by side with works of an average Joe. It's a site which values not only the big names in the field of literature but also to those small and struggling talents.

Basically, Book Browse offers a wide library of reading materials covering various genre and fields of writing. Anyone can browse their resources for free but certain benefits and special privileges are given to paid members.

Memberships are of two types; the 12-month membership and the three-month membership. You can avail each membership for $34.95 and $9.95 respectively. Well, not that hefty, if you'll ask me.

For budding freelance writers, Book Browse can be of great help. It can served as a training ground where writers can grasps and digest full command of English literature. Young writers can also adapt their own style and tone of writing.

Reading effectively is actually the first step in writing effectively and all writers know that.

Book Browse also introduces "Book Clubs" - small groups of members with matching interests. They can interact with each other, recommending, reviewing and being a critic over each other.

Book Browse also gives the opportunity for readers to know more about their favorite writer. Book Browse has a roster of well-known writers ready to be interviewed by Book Clubs.

The best benefit that Book Browse members get is that they discover books way ahead of the common crowd. For avid readers, that's enough of a reason to subscribe to Book Browse.
