Tarot cards: The Hanged Man ~ is the 12th card in the major arcana. This card represents the ability to recognize and become aware of the patterns that are repeated over and over within our lives. These patterns can limit our opportunities for growth and evolution on a emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual level.
When this card comes up in a reading for you, it is calling to you to move beyond the patterns of your ego and to access deeper aspects of your soul blueprinted knowing. This card asks you to enter into a state of surrender, to learn something new, through each experience that enters into your life. The Hanged Man is about growing beyond your hangups and to teach and guide you in the areas that support your growth.
As shared in other articles on the Tarot, we are living in times of great change. These changes often appear as negatives in our lives, causing distress, obstacles and challenges, to our physical senses, our human sight. However. although these challenges feel like negatives, the reality is, these challenges are offering us opportunities for growth and transformation. We come into our life clear and pure and still very much connected to our soul knowing.
As this is life on earth, we eventually reach a point, where the patterns that we have picked up from our environments or caregivers, are finally called for fine tuning and aligning to what is our highest truth.
When the Hanged Man or any card from the major arcana comes up in your reading, this means that you are being called at deeper levels to transform specific imprinting, that is no longer in your best interest.
Because we are living in times of great change, the Tarot has evolved in to teaching and guiding us, into the deeper aspects of our being, to come up with heart centered and soul guided awareness, for the many changes that are now coming into our life.
As I have been utilizing the wisdom of the Tarot since 1984, I have had an amazing opportunity to witness my perceptions in growing, evolving and changing.
When we begin our journey with the Tarot, if we allow ourselves to enter into this new realm of perception with an open heart and open mind, the gifts and treasures of our personal growth and journey, become inspiring and uplifting.
So, the next time you are having a reading, and the Hanged Man joins you on your journey for awakening, have no fear with this card, for it comes with a chance at great change. Welcome the changes with an open heart and open mind.
This becomes the greatest of our evolutionary treasures in our life.
