This is a subject I know far to well. It's a difficult one to understand because there are so many things that go along with friendship just like a marriage.

There has to be communication, commitment, devotion and honesty. Without these things, there is not much to go on. Cheating, deception, and dishonesty are things that lead to destruction.

No one is perfect except God! We all have our problems, past and present, but it makes us who we are today. But if two people can look past that and have compassion, sympathy, understanding and love in their hearts, they can create a friendship worth more than gold.

I am presently walking down a different path from one of my very good friends because we were not seeing eye to eye on things. It is a complicated situation and I had been there for her through thick and thin, but when myself and my family started being pulled into things I had to draw the line. It was a vey difficult decision to make and I still love her very much and hope to one day walk with her again down the same path.

Just like romance that may need rekindling, I believe friendship could use some too. We need to ask ourselves to re-evaluate the problems and see how we can work through our differences. If what we once had was so good and important, let's re-spark our friendship. We have so much to catch up on.
