I don't have that urge to hurry or to turn around and run.
I want to feel the sunshine warming up my soul
where shadows of the past had grown so very cold.

Today I feel alive like my spirit has been free'd
the puzzle now completed I found the missing piece.
I know this day won't last forever, turning black as night
but at this very moment everything feels right.
