1. Be Mindful
Make a conscious effort to focus on your daily habits with a fresh perspective. Recognize your own innate power within and begin each day with a moment of mindfulness to attain a state of inner peace of mind. Practice visualizing what is positive and try to steer your way out of life's chaos and complexities.
2. State an Affirmation
Make it a habit to say an inspiring affirmation daily like "Everything is going to be just fine." Repeating affirmations daily can motivate you to believe in your sense of worth, and usher in a sense of purpose in your life-helping you to achieve greater balance and fulfillment in your life.
3. Drink Water
Water is the most therapeutic natural resource. Every system in our body needs water to remove the harmful toxins and keep healthy. Maintaining a healthy body and mind is most helpful in achieving a state of balanced control in our lives. Drink two glasses of water on waking up and as often as you can to keep dehydration at bay.
4. Breathe Deeply
Breathing is critical to our health and well-being. The secret lies in breathing slowly as far as possible- taking deep, meaningful breaths from the belly. This practice helps to nourish the brain and other vital organs with oxygen; it also eliminates toxins from our system making our lives more productive and more balanced.
5. Eat Healthy
This is one of the most powerful ways for keeping your bodily and mental health in optimal condition. Your daily intake of balanced meals should include foods rich in fiber, whole grains, vegetables, fruits and low fat dairy products. Avoid eating in excess-this could have dangerous repercussions on your health and create imbalance in your daily activities.
