Although there are no existing words that could express how much you have meant to me, I would like to give you both my thanks. I have looked up to you for as long as I can remember. You both have set excellent examples for me to follow. I am glad that you both are a part of my life, because it would not be the same without you.

As a child, you both tortured me. You would not let me play with you and your friends. When you did it ended up being a joke. You called me a boy and made fun of my name. I tried everything to make you like me, but it never worked. For a long time I thought I did not like either of you very much. I found out eventually that was not the case, though.

In school I tried to be like you. You both excelled in everything you did, socially and educationally. I was always compared to the way you both were. That was fine with me.

It was an honor to be seen in your light. Your inspiration is what helped me succeed and want to do better for myself. When I was not doing well enough, you forced me to do better.

When I was all alone as a teenager, you were there for me. No one checked on me for months, except you two. I could have disappeared off the face of the earth and only you would have known. I acted like I did not want you to know what was going on in my life. Thank you for being there when I needed you.

Now as an adult you still check on me. When I told you I was getting married, you interrogated me about my future husband. It annoyed me, but I understand. You dig into my business, but I know what you are doing. I am glad you do it. It is good to know that you still care. It is hard to explain to you that I appreciate your love and your examples.

Like I said, there are no appropriate words to express my thanks to you both. Without you there is no telling where I would be today. You are my brothers and I love you. Thank you for everything and I hope that I have been the sister you both deserve.
