1.  Auto-Tweet features - Depending on the blog platform you are using, you may be able to set up an "Auto-Tweet" of your new blog posts. This is typically done in one of two manners, either through a plug-in that allows your blog post to be tweeted directly to your Twitter account or through using RSS feeds. These methods include auto-shortening of the links to your blog post and submit them to your Twitter account for all of your followers to see.

2.  Bookmarking features - You may be able to find a suitable plug-in that you can install to your blog that would allow readers to "tweet" your individual blog posts directly to their Twitter account. These utilities are available for a number of different blogging platforms and encourage your readers to take action after reading your blog post. These plug-in features can mean that people who who may not know about your blog would have the opportunity to review it because a third party sent it to their followers in their Twitter time line.

3.  Tweeting individual posts - Another very effective method for promoting your blog through Twitter is to use an automatic Twitter program such as SocialOomph, HootSuite or TweetAdder to feed individual posts to your feed on a regular basis. Simply copy the title and link of your blog post to the appropriate program (making sure to shorten the link) and feed it on an intermittent basis to your Twitter account. Unless you do not gain any new followers on Twitter, you will have a fresh audience on a fairly steady basis.
