MY LIFE
So this is my life, so long yet so short
I’m here at near thirty with no rhyme or way
I’m afraid of tomorrow and ashamed of today
Nothing to do but wait
My art is waning, my writing mind blocked
My nursing care substandard, my career awash
My piano is dusty, my fingers are sore
Hiking now a chore, my knees don’t work
I know there is hope somewhere out there
But today life seems uneventful, boring, and dim
I have love in my life, but today I feel lonely
I guess that’s how it is, this is my life

While I wander through
