Father’s Day brings the opportunity to thank the dad who has been there for you.  He has done so much for you, and now you have the opportunity to do something for him.  Most wish to get their father something special on the day that celebrates them, however they might find it challenging if they do not have a lot of money.  However, there are many wonderful gifts that you can get for Father’s Day that are inexpensive.  The following are some great Father’s Day gifts that do not cost a lot of money.

DVD

A DVD can be a great gift for your father, and they make many that are very reasonable.  You can often find DVDs for only $5 at places like Target and other discount stores.  They have many different movies for this price, many of which were very popular.  In addition, sometimes even seasons of television shows are relatively inexpensive and can even be had for $15 or less.  Think about the movies that he would enjoy.  You can even put him a little movie gift basket together with popcorn and candy and it still can be relatively inexpensive.

Book

Many guys like books.  There are so many different types that you are likely to find something that he would enjoy.  In many of the bookstores such as Barnes and Noble they have an extensive selection of bargain books.  You can often get something for a very reasonable amount of money that might be enjoyable.  You could get him a fictional book to read, a non-fiction educational book, a fun book with brainteasers, a coffee table book or whatever else you think he would like.  This can be an entertaining gift for him that does not cost a lot of money.

Photo album of pictures

Your father might enjoy a photo alum filled with pictures, especially if he is the sentimental or nostalgic type.  This would be especially good if you have kids and could put in pictures of the children into the photo album.  There are many places where you can get photo albums for very little such as the discount stores of Ross.  In addition, there are many places where you can get inexpensive prints such as Snapfish and Costco.

Even without a lot of money, you can still get your dad a great Father’s Day gift.  Consider the above gifts when deciding what to get.
