Drug of the New Day
Struck as a pedestrian by a drunk driver at age 21, Rena lost some of her normal brain functioning like short term memory. In its place she developed intensely accurate psychic ability. She saw a shrink quarterly to help with the depression that was another result of the accident.

A minute later a migraine came on; ten minutes later she was throwing up in the bathroom and getting into a panic about this bizarre net feeling. She stumbled into her supervisors office and said she needed to go home.
