Mom
I was in my maker s' care as we met for the very first time
he held me in his hand and when he let me go, that's when you heard me cry
I didn't know if the mother I was getting was a pearl of a great price
then when he allowed me to feel,to smell, to need you for the very first time,
I was sure then, that a more wonderful mother for me he couldn't have made
Baby me brought you gifts of pure love and heavenly thoughts from within my soul
and on this mother's day I want you to know that that pure love, and heavenly thoughts of your wonderful love, is all I know
Thank you Mother

and kissed their hurts
and washed their T-shirts
