I talk to you when you're not there
In a lot of ways it's like a prayer
You're someone I admire and respect
Though two way communication I rarely get
So I talk to you like a God unseen
Bare my soul till my spirit is clean
In a hundred letters I never send
Written in times I need a friend
Problems purged I then hit “delete”
Just to acknowledge them I am complete
Advice assumed I then go on my way
It's very rarely about what you say
My inner conscience speaks through you
Since you're where I want to be too
So I turn to you until I trust my voice
Then – only then – will I make the choice
To show you all I am or can be
Until then I confide in the you unseen.

Many

The e-mails, letters and pictures were neat
It's really too bad they weren't for me
I would
