The darkness dwells within me
And no one really knows
How lonely I am inside
Behind my perfect mask.
The darkness dwells within me,

The darkness dwells within me
And there’s no way out
From its deepest tunnels
Of depression and despair.
The darkness dwells within me,
But I relish in its
Cold embrace while it
Blocks out all the light.
