The greatest challenge you are going to face when trying to date a married man is guilt. Guilt is a giant with tremendous powers. It is invisible, but incredibly heavy. Guilt will slowly crush and slowly suffocate. It will kill you and will cause excruciating pain.
There was a battle in the land of a beautiful lady. It was while she was bathing in her courtyard that one of the warriors saw her naked in the twilight. The warrior couldn't take his eyes away from her, nor his thoughts. Instead of fleeing, he sought her out. Instead of honoring marriage vows, the two of them found each other which led to an act of adultery. The event escalated into a nightmare - the lady became pregnant. Guilt overwhelmed. The two of them were sentenced to living with themselves, to wallow in their guilt. Their lives forever revealed a legacy of silence, sorrow and secrecy- the telltale marks of the guilty.
Silence hurts. Who does a person talk to? Those closest to you do not want to know that promises are being broken and vows destroyed. The gulf of silence sends people into exile.
Sorrow overcomes. People become trapped inside their guilt. Sorrow will sap life out of people - leaving no reason to dance, no words to sing. Guilt writes poetry of grief.
Guilt is a force of isolation. Living with an intolerable secret leaves people in psychological exile. Once open and transparent people face terribly painful agonies.
It boggles me that people would want this legacy. Get rid of the married man instead of trying to figure out how to date one. Unfinished business of the soul takes a toll on a life. The imprisonment of guilt measures more difficult than any physical imprisonment. Wander down the dating road with a married man and you will certainly know the dark alleys of grief and the boulevards of despair.
Be set free from the solitude of the secret. Life was not meant to be lived grim and joyless. Trying to date married men holds ugly consequences. The moral degradation is unthinkable. By pursing a married man, a woman chooses to foolishly hide. Walk away. It may be intensely painful, but it will be thoroughly liberating. Do it! Walk away. Don't even try to figure out how to date a married man!
