Tips for earning gold in World Of Warcraft

Having enough gold in World of Warcraft is pretty important. You have to pay for riding skills, mounts, gems, enchants, bags, etc. These items alone can easily approach the neighborhood of anywhere from 8000g to 10000g or even more, depending on how extravagant your choices are. As someone who owns a tundra traveler's mount (16-20k gold) and also a motorcycle (15k gold) in addition to creating my own guild banks with 5 tabs just for my storage purposes, making enough gold was not an issue. Here are the methods that were the most successful for generating tons of gold quickly.

1) *PLAY THE AUCTION HOUSE.

Playing the auction house (AH) is the best and quickest way to make gold. It gets even better if you have crafting professions versus gathering professions. Of the crafting professions, some of the most lucrative ones to use in auctioning are jewelcrafting, enchanting, and inscription. This is because these professions produce items that are the most commonly sought-after item enhancements in the game. All players need to socket gems, get enchants, and use glyphs.

Professions like tailoring (caster leg threads), leatherworking (physical attack leg armors), and blacksmithing (eternal belt buckles for extra socket on belt) are extremely limited by comparison because these affect fewer pieces of gear, which in turn means less demand in general.

If you have gathering professions (herbalism, mining, skinning), then you can spend time farming for materials such as herbs, mines for ore and gems, or leather. By contrast, these raw materials usually don’t generate nearly as much income. This is because you’re not exploiting one of the biggest truths common to many players: laziness.

Some players are industrious and go around collecting mats, but a lot of players just want instant gratification. They want what they’re looking for right now. This is why offering a finished product like an already cut gem versus the raw gem usually gains more gold, because a lazy player doesn’t want to have to buy the raw gem and then spend time finding someone to cut it. If they can pay a little more to get the finished product right away, then that’s probably what they’ll choose to do.

Some players dislike the auction house because of the competitive nature of a lot of players. It’s true that often you run into vicious undercutting tactics. It’s also true that the AH takes a 20% cut of the profits. Twenty percent is quite a lot, but it’s
