Poetry: One last time

by Elin Brawley

Created on: May 05, 2010

One last time to kill the pain,

It should have gone by now.

One last time to touch the blade,

The answers were never clear.

One last time to hide behind,

My shell is cracking beneath the strain.

One last time to open up the scars,

Marred forever, my virgin skin.

One last time to say goodbye,

They never knew I was even here.
