The exquisite dandelions, which are golden-yellow
They complement well with the mood that’s soft and mellow.
The kings of my garden of flowers
Standing tall like the late Twin Towers.
The competition around them turns dry
Their yellow heads still sits high.
Like predators, attack to satisfy their own needs
Very much like Wall Street, lives life by greed.
Unwanted money-green weeds
Being removed by the energetic teens.
While the wind continues to blow,
They illuminate the garden with their glow.
Before I walk through the door,
I take one last look and notices
The dandelions are more golden than before.

White fluffy balls
Attached to a stem
Oh what delight they bring!
Schoolyard kids pick
Them all the time
To blow them
by Scott Scherr
The mighty dandelions
Are not meant to be restrained.
Collectively, their beauty’s fierce,
They multiply in rain.
Should
by Chrystal
So many dandelions
in her garden of life,
wheelbarrows of sorrow
seeds of ongoing strife.
Lift up your chin
oh she tried so
by Cyn Bagley
some see dandelions as weeds
but we would cut the greens
pluck the yellow heads
blow the seeds into the breeze
greens tasted
DANDELION THOUGHTS
Golden drops of sunshine
all across the fields and yard,
but even dandelions
find that life is hard
