A red and blue country themed bedroom is a refreshing interior design that brings the warmth of the countryside together with invigorating colors. In order to create a soft country bedroom environment that is relaxing and visually appealing, add decorative accessories.  Choose blue accessories in a shade that is darker and brighter than wedge wood blue but softer and lighter than royal blue. Select a blue lamp and a blue wicker chair to bring style to the casual country room design. Due to the strong floral pattern, solid colored accessories look best. Striped and plaid fabrics can also be incorporated into the country bedroom design.

To complete the bedroom appeal, adorn the room with fluffy curtains. With the strong blue and red floral theme, solid colored curtains in a contrasting color bring focus to the space. Green curtains that match the leaves in the floral bedspread or yellow curtains that match the center of the floral pattern in the comforter can be used to adorn the windows. A floral wall picture that incorporates red, blue, and green into the image will pull the colors of the room together.

Decorating a red and blue country bedroom can be a fun-filled and rewarding home improvement project. The soft, comfortable furniture and accessories help to create a bedroom retreat. A country themed bedroom is an eye-appealing contribution to a warm and friendly home environment.
