From the containments of a flower shop,
I search for a flower,
but not just any flower:
a flower for her.
But what flower, I ask,
might she like?
and what flower is the flower for her?
Forever I searched the shop,
and I found naught.
I left behind the store
that was empty of what I had been searching for,
and walked back home,
my head dropped low.
What might she think? I asked.
Would she be sad?
Could she possibly forgive?
What kind of man am I?
My head stayed low until at last I saw it:
a single daisy.
Its petals shone rays of white from its source of gold,
perfect for representing her:
the guiding light of my life;
the guiding light that was my love;
a love that was only natural
had been incarnated not as a man-grown bouquet
but a single natural flower.

Poetry: Natural love
by Jared Hooper
From the containments of a flower shop,
I search for a flower,
but not just any flower:
a flower for her.
But what flower,
Natural love is pure of heart
it asks nothing of the lover from the start
it is whole and not lacking to say the least
it is
Natural love
Is there any
Other sort?
We choose
The words
Take our aim
But that's not
Love
You either do
Or you don't
Life without you would suck,
No stepping ducks.
I don't like it when you snap at me,
I want you to see what i see.
I know you

Tons of grass
Were growing
On me says
Mother earth
I had to be kind
To allow
God's creation
Natural love
To feel and feed
Their tools
