What I'd do if I were to die tomorrow? Wow! That's a tough question for me since I never think about that. Well, in this occasion, I suddenly think about my priority. I now live in other island, far away from my hometown. I used to think that it would be good for me to live far away from home. Now since I am living far away for about one year, I regret it. I find out that living together with our family is a great blessing we've ever had. Meeting my family and hanging out with them is my first priority. So, even though it is not really going to be happened, here are several things I would do if I know that I were to die tomorrow:
Resign from my job
Why? Because if I would die tomorrow, I should take action today. I would explain to my manager that I will die tomorrow –hoping that he would understand- and I want to meet my family. I need to resign to make everything clear. I do not want to die without any information and leave my job without any responsibility. I would say goodbye to my colleague and friends in this island. I want to share the last hugs for them.
Buy Flight Tickets
Yes. I would buy two tickets, one for me and one for my fiancee. I want him to accompany me to go back to my hometown. I would force him to take a day off to spend the last time together. It would not be easy, I know, but if I failed to force him, I will leave him and still fly to my hometown. I do not mean to be evil, but my priority here is my family.
Meet My Parents and Brother
My heart and my mind are on them so I would hug them and kiss them. I would explain that this is my last day, so let's make it counts. I would tell them that I love them so much. I would tell them that I am so proud of them until now. I would tell my apology to them. I would tell them that I will be okay and ask them not to worry about me, even this is also difficult.
Praying
This is the last but not least. I would pray to God so that He would give me strength and joy. I want to rest in peace. I would pray that God would be with my family and my fiancee and give them joy.
Those are the things I would do if I were to die tomorrow. How about you?
