There are a lot of different types of relationships, but how we deal with relationships depends hugely on our gender. They say men are from mars and women are from venus; I believe that statement is true according to the way men and women relate in relationships.

First, in a man and woman relationship, the ground rules are based on compromise and compassion. Off course, passion is needed to keep a relationship alive, but because the genders are so different some compromise is needed too. The main difference is the way we handle problems and emotions, men like to believe that they can fix everything and deal with their own problems.

For women, however, that's different as without someone to talk to our someone to comfort them, the problems seem exponentionally large. Women also have a greater sense of intuition and even though males try to hide their problems and emotions, there's no fooling a female, she would always know that something is wrong by the way you're acting. It comes naturally to female population and there's no need to be shocked by it or to question it.

Men, if you want a successful and loving relationship, allow yourself to open up to your soul mate, tell them about your problems. If you have chosen to stay together, a mutual trust is needed.  She will not judge, she only wants to listen and maybe give advice. The sharing will definitely lead to stronger relationship.

Women, on the other hand have to understand that men don't always want to share their feelings. If it doesn't concern you, it might be easier and better to let them deal with their own problems and once again prove their manliness to you. You can offer your attention and comforting without asking too many questions. Remember, men don't like noisy women, nobody does, so don't overtalk! Another important feature of a good relationship is good communication and trust. They say that couples have a habbit of finishing each other's sentences and having inside jokes. This along with trust are very important, after all any lie is going to be revealed some day. So no lieing to your mate, it can cost you!

Overall, men and women are very different but this makes the relationships so much more interesting and unique. Do not be afraid to talk from your heart to your chosen mate, and your relationship will prosper and blossom!
