Mamma Mia's Pizza is one of the best pizza places in Apex, North Carolina.  If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere, terrific food and good prices, you'll find it at Mamma Mia's.  This is a family run business and this family knows Italian food and how to make you feel right at home when you walk through the door.

The menu includes everything from chicken wings and garlic knots for appetizers to salads and veal and chicken dishes.  And of course, New York style pizza!  They have a wide variety of toppings from anchovies to jalapeno peppers.  The pizza here is never greasy and it's got that perfect crust.  This is the closest thing to New York pizza I've had since I left New York.

Their sandwiches are amazing.  The meatball panini is one of the few things my son begs for every time we mention getting take out food.  The eggplant, whether you choose the panini or the parmigiana, is always just right.  We've never gotten food here that we didn't love.

Their entrees are also very good and the prices are reasonable.  They range in price from $9.95 for pasta of your choice and meatballs to $19.95 for a seafood Alfredo dish.  I always feel I could never make this food at home so it's worth every penny.

They also have veal and chicken dishes which are again, always just right.  I can't stress enough that we've never had food here that we've thought was bad.  I can't think of many restaurants that I can say that about.

They deliver, too!  And it's always speedy and the delivery driver never crushes your pizza and is usually smiling!

Mamma Mia's also offers catering for any occasion you can think of from weddings to business meetings.  The catering menu is reasonably priced and has a wide variety of delicious food.  They recently opened a booth at the RBC center where you can get calzones and Stromboli.  

Something truly amazing that Mamma Mia's offers is a raffle to win a trip to Italy with the owners!  This looks like it will become a yearly tradition.  This year's trip will be two weeks long because last year's trip was such a success.  They promise to show you behind the scenes at restaurants and show you a great time.  What other restaurant offers something like that?  The answer is none!

Mamma Mia's is closed on Sundays.  Monday through Thursday they are open from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm.  Fridays they stay open until 10 pm.  Saturdays they open at 2:30 pm and close at 10.  If you go to their website, you can find a ten percent off coupon which is good Monday through Thursday.
