With our economy in such a downward spiral, many people are searching for other ways to supplement their income. Luckily, we live in a day and time that allows us so many money making opportunities. Where there is a will, there is definitely a way.
Selling
One way to earn extra cash is by selling your used items. Since the beginning of time people have had yard sales to get rid of their unwanted items, while making money at the same time. Having the internet has just stepped it up a notch.
Everyone has heard of eBay and how well items sell on the site. The only catch with that is that eBay also gets part of your money. To sell your items free, I recommend www.craigslist.com. This is a free site. You advertise your own merchandise and the buyer directly contacts the seller. There are no hidden charges.
Another good way to earn money is by selling someone else’s items. I often take pictures of people’s merchandise and advertise it online for a percentage of the selling price. You would be amazed at how many people take advantage of my services. Some have no understanding of the internet while others just don't want to take the time. If done full time, it's a great money making opportunity.
Writing
Anyone can earn money writing. There are many sites available. Of course, my favorite is www.helium.com. With the up front payments, empty title bonuses, contests, and marketplace the amount that can be earned is limitless.
The amount of time you put into this sort of job will determine the amount you make. This is an ideal job opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, goal oriented, and disciplined.
Personal Services
By offering your personal services, you can be in complete control of the prices you set and the money you make. You can offer services online or locally.
Some local jobs could be a shopping assistant, errand runner, dog walker, babysitter, or housekeeping. Many people will pay for someone to do their laundry.
Examples of online services would be typing, finding items that people are searching for, selling items for people, or ghostwriting.
Blogging
Everybody has recently been talking about making money blogging. The way to make money with a blog is to make sure your blog is of interest to a wide variety of readers. The next thing to do is use google’s ad sense. You will make money by your readers clicking on the ads.
Even better, become an affiliate broker. Advertise someone’s ebook on your site. You will make a certain commission when it sells. A good place to find items is on www.clickbank.com.
I have listed only a few ways to earn some extra money. Maybe it's the right amount to get you thinking. I'm sure you have a unique interest or talent that you can also use. The main thing is to just jump right into it. Now days you can make money doing most anything.
