As with addiction I deal,
Help me accept all that I feel,
Though feeling uncomfortable may I know,
That I strong in Recovery can now grow,
Help me accept feelings that come with change,
My life may I seek now to rearrange,
On Recovery’s pathway may I remain,
O help me now to see past my inner pain,
And seek to live in victory I pray,
As I now travel Recovery’s pathway.
- For Morning Reflections where the thought for the day is “Change can feel uncomfortable. I accept all the feelings that come with change and growth.”
