Cool, another chance to inflict on everyone else my taste in modern popular culture, featuring yet another list I came up with while sitting on the toilet. My conclusion - I spend much too much time sitting on the toilet.

My top five movies are...in no particular order:

1. 2001: A Space Odyssy

No, I don't understand the end either, but this movie just looks stunning, even by todays special effects standards.

2. The Life Of Brian

Monty's finest moment, loved by me, the cheese makers and, of course, Bigus Dicus.

3. Jaws

I know there are scenes where it looks like a big rubber fish, but this movie scared me to death (not literally) and has the best ending to any horror / monster movie ever.

4. The Shawshank Redemption

I'm a grown man and I cried. Enough said.

5. Freabie and the Bean

Forget all those Lethal Weapon Bad Boy buddy cop movies. This was the first and by far the funniest.
