Poetry: The most beautiful woman

by Adam John

Created on: April 30, 2010

It tumbles past her eyes

Like a Medusa's cascade

Of the most exsquisite coppper

God has ever made

The shades of sky at sunset

Ripple across the sea

Of burnished, lustrous waves

She looses just for me

Beyond the ever-flowing stream

She reserves for just a few

The most radiant eyes

Alive with emerald hue

And as the sun rises

She basks in her own glow

And it's me she hypnotises

As I watch the river flow
