Best diets to lose weight fast

The key to healthy weight loss is within you.  It is not so much a particular diet, as it is a complete diet and lifestyle change.  When you are on a diet, it makes the assumption that eventually you will be off your diet.  If you want to lose weight quickly and keep it off, then you need to change your entire perspective on diets and focus on a healthier, happier, leaner you.  

Here are some weight loss tips that have helped me lose almost 40 pounds in the past 4 months. First and foremost:  Do not starve yourself.  The key to healthy and fast weight loss is to eat. Just make sure you are eating the right things.

So what do you eat?

VEGGIES AND FRUIT:

Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre, natural sugars, as well as water can be found in the endless varieties of fruit and vegetables.  Hit your local store and load up on fresh (as well as frozen) fruit and vegetables.  They will be the bulk of your new and healthy lifestyle. Incorporate some fruit into your breakfast, and vegetables into your lunch and dinner.  Make sure you prepare them without fatty butter. Steaming or raw is the best bet.  Fruit and vegetables also make ideal snacks between meals that are nutritious and will keep that hunger away!  Try something new, try mixing them with other foods.  For example slice some berries and put them in your low fat yogurt.  Filling and delicious.

WHOLE GRAINS:

Treat yourself to whole grains.  Throw away the white bread and buns, and go for whole grain (while not over-doing it).  Go for high fiber breads that are chunky and grainy.  Pass by the instant rice, and pick some brown rice or a slower cooking rice such as basmati.  Basmati is a great alternative and it has a wonderful flavor.  Likewise, avoid the quick flavored oatmeals that are processed and full of sugar.  Opt for slow cooking plain oats and flavor them yourself.  This is what I have for breakfast, and slice some apples into it then sprinkle with cinnamon.

AVOID PROCESSED SUGARS & FOODS

Look at labels!  Everything is packed full of sugar.  Everything from the ketchup you slather on your burger, to the energy bar you think is healthy for you!  Cut as much sugar and processed foods out of your diet as possible.  Let's go for a clean diet of whole and raw foods. Processed sugars are one of the worst things you can consume while on a weight loss plan.
