I DOUBLE DARE YOU
What am I daring you to do? Unless you are the disciplined person I am striving to become, you have probably watched way too much TV and listened to all the "experts" talk about the state of the economy. Until the economy became the only news, I had no idea we had so many "experts" around. They are beginning to sound like bad weather forecasters; the ones from back in the day before they had all the modern technology, and they would rely on the groundhog or on their bunions to tell people what would happen with the weather (or did the "bunion" prediction only come from my grandfather?). So before you put all your Faith or Truth principles on the shelf and choose instead to be scared, here's my dare:
No matter what the outer appearances or conditions seem to say, or what your trusted media tell you, I dare you to hold fast to your dreams. I dare you to remember that you have within you all the "stimulus" you need to find and live your purpose. I dare you to remember that greater is the Omniscience within you, than any seeming disturbance outside of you. I dare you to consider that even in the midst of daunting forecasts which tell you that you cannot make it, you are already making it. How do I know this? You are alive and able to read this. Life, I have come to believe, is the idea in Divine Mind of activity, so you and I, each day we wake up, have the opportunity to fulfill our dreams. I dare you to step out on faith rather than wait for a "bailout" - whatever your idea of a bailout might be. The only bailout allowed is the manifestation of your greatness! So since you still have the gift of life, dare to prove the naysayers wrong. What I have come to realize is that when I dare to move against all the odds, the universe moves too and open doors that I never knew existed. I honestly believe that this perfect, orderly universe is rigged in our favor - always conspiring for our good. So hey, with that kind of insurance, don't we owe it to ourselves to try, no matter what the economists say? I think so.
I dare you to know that '"all is well". I dare you to know that your happiness is not dependent on Wall Street; if you have sneaked a peek at the TV, even you disciplined ones, you will see that Mr. (or is it Ms.?) Wall Street has been very fickle lately and that there are trusted advisors who have simply "made off" with peoples' "life savings" This should be a clue that what we call "life savings"
