3 great makeover ideas for the home, with little or no money

Make these easy changes to your home, and you can have dramatic results for little or no money!  Take your home from drab to fab with these three great litle or no money home makeover ideas.

Money is tight these days but that is no reason why you cannot update the look of your home. There are many ways to give your home a fresh look that does not cost a fortune.

Shake things up a bit:

Start with the obvious things you can do such as organize the junk and get it out of the way, by selling or storing, and removing unused items from the room you want to redo is important. A thorough cleaning of the room will also give you a better sense of different possibilities.

You can dramatically change the appearance of a room by simply moving the furniture around. Think outside the box, even a small room can be changed around with a few simple moves. Maybe you have a table that would look totally different if covered by a lace cloth. Perhaps if the television was this way and the couch that way, the room would open up more? Maybe we could even switch this room for that room! Be open to ideas and think outside the box!

Paint:

There is nothing that smells better and fresher, like a fresh coat of paint! Be bold, and put some color in your life. It can be fun to test the colors at Sherwin-Williams websites color visualizer.

If you are not used to having color and are afraid to try bold colors, this site will help guide and show you just what the colors will look like. It is interactive and fun to play with.

Shop the thrift stores:

You will have so much fun, and get such a big thrill when you purchase an item or two at the local Salvation Army, or Goodwill store in your area.

These stores are wealthy in precious, one of a kind pieces that cost next to nothing. Are you looking for lovely nick knacks to fit into your new look? These shops are affordable for all, and also good for the environment because of the 100 recycling factor. Be proud! No one will ever know anyway, unless you tell them!

You will also be doing a good deed as these organizations help those in need. It is always a good idea to pack a bag or two of unwanted items to donate. This way you take out the old, to make way for the new, and, you help the needy.

Giving your home a whole new look doesn’t have to cost you even one dime! But even a tight budget can have a dramatic influence with these three easy home updating ideas.
