Destiny is? A question unanswered.
Where to find it?
Choices to make.
Will You follow me?
What path will i choose?
I walk the one of brambles and slopes.
Not by choice but necessity.
Will you follow me?
The path of least resistance,
Like fire and smoke.
An easy alternative to the toil and trouble.
Will I follow you?
I see my challenges as.........
a self imposed fealty to a higher power,
a test to make this all seem like practice and bookwork.
Will you follow me?
I search for the holy grail of life,
Love eternal is a fitting title.
But where is it all i find is circumstances.
Will you Follow me?
I will not buckle under the stress of mortality,
Nor will I be Labeled a Mortal failiure.
I find you in places I don't dream of.
Will you follow me.
Blood on my hands, Tears in my Ocular orbs.
these don't make a man they make a beast..
Will i become the terrible or will it become me?
Will I follow you?
A place of solitude and solace,
My search began from the womb.
I need the glow of the fire that i carry.
Will you follow me?
A purgatory is where i find my self
A place of white walls and whiter teeth,
I need action and adventure.
Will you follow me?
Jordan, Homer, Tolkein all found their destiny.
Poe, Hemmingway, both met untimely ends,
Where will this take me,
Will you follow me?
My title is nothing of importance,
nor is my degree, i search.
I will find my place among you.
Will i follow you?
Heaven or hell, Places of power.
I long for the Beautiful Bliss of the haven of god.
But mortal souls are inclined to the destitute and ugly truths of hell.
Will you follow me?
I search for the fire that i carry.
I march to the beat of a drum in the arms of a man i havent seen.
But i feel those powerful beats as clear as a Backwoods stream.
Will I follow you?
To my ends i make my way,
day by glorious day i follow your calling.
Who are you i don't know, I could care less.
But i will follow you, forever and Always.
So mote it be.

At forty-six, it all seems fixed;
This trail that I blaze
Should be straight and narrow,
Not a vast and twisting

I have worked so long
And so hard everyday
For everyone except myself
One gets tired
Of being the answer

I am creating my destiny as I sit here and write
I choose to do this... be it day or night
I decided to choose this subject...
